We came up with the idea of writing about kitchen tools for vegans when I realized that preparing healthy, tasty vegan meals requires a set of tools that not everybody has in a typical kitchen. As you start preparing more whole-food, plant-based (and sometimes even raw!) meals, you’ll see how these tools are not gadgets but really helpful companions on your vegan journey.

When you support local produce, you're supporting the local economy. Did you know for every $100 you spend at local businesses, $68 will stay in the community! (Mass.gov) Often the best thing you can do for the environment is to buy food that is both local and organic. That way, you can reduce your food miles while also purchasing food that uses less energy-intensive production practices and maintains healthy ecosystems.

Spring is a busy season for New England farmers and it takes planning and persistence to keep up with the demands of outdoor growing. They’ve certainly been successful because we’re able to find more crop diversity! Celebrate Passover with Boston Organics

Passover is a Jewish holiday that spans over 7 days, and the first night starts this week! On the first night of Passover, families gather for Seder; a meal that includes special symbolic dishes and rituals. With social distancing still in effect, Seder might be a little less traditional this year. Here are some of the traditional Seder dishes with a Boston Organics twist:
